Act 1. [ Part 3 ]
“I’ll go with you.”
Tundra gave you an affirming nod, then led you into the Dungeon, alert and furious. You joined the small search party, delving into the autumnal forest, with Tundra leading the way and making it clear everyone was to stay close to him. This late at night, it was dangerous to be exploring the Dungeon, but you couldn’t just let a bunch of Outlaws get away so easily!
Your group explored the Dungeon, senses alert, checking every tree and pumpkin for the Outlaws, but soon enough, the signs of their presence were becoming fewer and fewer. Eventually, there wasn’t a single sign of where they’d gone. Not even a single trace. Tundra soon halted in his tracks, looking around, but clearly unable to detect anything of note. Defeated, he let out a sigh and turned to the search party.
TUNDRA
Well, this is it, I’m afraid. They’ve successfully made their escape. It’s much too dark, and too dangerous, to try and continue looking for them tonight. As disappointing as it is, we’ll just have to head back home. I’m sorry everyone.
You all then made your way back through Scarlet Canopy, Tundra safely leading you all back to the Guild. Nevermore was waiting at the entrance, a worried frown forming when he saw the defeated look on Tundra’s face.
NEVERMORE
Oh dear.. I take it you couldn’t find them after all?
TUNDRA
Unfortunately not. They already had a head start as it was, and they seemed to know their way around the darkness pretty well. Eventually, we lost all sight and trace of them. There’s no other choice but to abandon the search tonight and try again another time.
NEVERMORE
I see. That is unfortunate, but there’s no use risking everyone getting lost trying to find them in the dark. Very well, we’ll just have to keep an eye out and spread the word. If anyone happens to see them, we’ll just ask them to inform us as soon as they can. The sooner we can recapture these Outlaws, the better. For now, all of you, please go rest up. You all did your best, thank you.
