Act 1. [ Part 1 ]
“Understood. Let's go!”
You and Tundra prepared for the long journey. It was a much farther walk than you were used to, having to skirt around the outskirts of Windy Hills and a rainforest that Tundra assured you you’d be able to explore soon enough. It took half the day to finally reach the jungle where the Outlaw was supposedly hiding, and the journey was pretty exhausting. Tundra decided to allow you to take a short rest before you headed into the Dungeon, providing you with some food he’d brought along with him.
A few minutes passed, the provided food had been eaten, and energy was recovered. Tundra checked that you were ready to continue, and with your confirmation, led you through the mystical, near-invisible misty barrier that surrounded each Dungeon. As usual, you were met with an odd chill across your body as you passed through, though you had grown fairly accustomed to the sensation.
The jungle, Tangled Overgrowth, was exactly how the name implied. It was a dense forest of thick foliage, roots and vines that sprawled across the ground and hung from the canopy, threatening to trip up any walking through, or snag anyone too tall or those trying to fly through. Either way, you could tell navigation wouldn’t be easy. The air was hot and dry, making it difficult to breathe, and there was the constant odd sensation of feeling watched.
TUNDRA
You feel it too, don’t you? Don’t worry, that’s normal. At least, for this place, anyway. We haven’t had the opportunity to learn much about this place just yet, but from the few reports we have had, this feeling watched sensation seems pretty consistent. It’s unsettling, but I don’t detect anything nearby that could be causing it. Keep up your guard, of course, but don’t worry too much. I’ll let you know if I sense anything.
He led you through the jungle, keeping his senses alert for anything that could pose a threat, then directing you along a safer route. It wasn’t easy to explore, but you had to find that Outlaw. He had to be here somewhere, according to the last sighting, and it was your task to find him.
